THE BOOK
Two babies. One very full life.
Some seasons of life are carefully planned. Others arrive as two babies at once.
Double Booked is my memoir about motherhood with twins — the sleepless nights, the chaos, the humour, the exhaustion and the small moments that somehow make it all worthwhile.
It is a personal story, but the experiences behind it are familiar territory for anyone who has tried to keep up with work, family, expectations and the version of themselves they are still trying to find.
WHAT READERS ARE SAYING
The nicest part of writing a book is hearing what happens after someone reads it.
A few excerpts from messages readers have shared with me. Names are intentionally omitted here.
One of the fastest books I have ever finished reading — within three days. What I admire even more is that you pursued your passion while juggling work and life.
— Reader messageI am not a book person but this book is definitely turning me into a reading fan.
— Reader messageStarted last night, got hooked and finished reading it. It is written beautifully.
— Reader messageThe book does not preach parenting. It's purely Shreya's experience — but still you learn from her feelings lying between the lines.

A story that began outside the page.
Writing the book became another way of making sense of motherhood — turning memories, conversations and everyday chaos into something I could hold onto and share.
